Uludağ Tourism Ready for the Holiday with Record Occupancy
Uludağ is enjoying high occupancy rates this season; facilities expect near-100% occupancy during the Ramadan Holiday period.

Uludağ, one of the leading centres of winter tourism, is enjoying a season of high occupancy. Businesses in the region expect occupancy close to 100% during the mid-term break and the Ramadan Holiday period.
At the summit, where snow depth exceeded 1.5 metres in February and March, hotels and facilities with a capacity of around 3,800 beds expect activity to increase with the mid-term break and the holiday period. Visitors to the region can enjoy both skiing and snowboarding on the 1,980-metre-long slopes.
GÜMTOB board member and Uludağ representative Burak Beceren said they had had a highly productive season, with weekday occupancy at 80–85% and weekends and holiday periods approaching 100%. Noting that snow cover had been around 155–160 centimetres over the past two weeks, Beceren emphasized that the normal operation of the cable car and the highway made access to Uludağ easier.
Beceren said that if weather and snow conditions remained favourable, the facilities would continue to operate until April 5.
